3rd Annual Brian’s Ride This Weekend
July 29, 2009
Raynham, Ma – This Sunday will mark the 3rd Annual Brian’s Ride in Raynham, Massachusetts to benefit the Massachusetts Motorcyclists Survivor’s Fund.
Brian’s ride is named after Brian Mello, a Raynham resident and firefighter who was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident on March 24, 2007.
The ride begins and ends at The Jockey Club on Route 44, and covers “50 miles of scenic roads through the area”, according to reports.
Pre-registration for Brian’s ride is $15, which will begin at 9:30 a.m. or participants can pay $20 at the door after the ride. Organizers are expecting over 800 bikers to turn out for this year’s ride.
Visit the Brian’s Ride website for more details. Event volunteers are needed.
The Massachusetts Motorcyclists Survivor’s Fund is a non-profit organization that provides money and valuable resources to families who have lost a loved one in a motorcycle accident.
