Biker in Critical Condition After Marshfield Crash

Marshfield, MA – A biker from Dedham, MA who was vacationing in Marshfield is in critical condition after being struck by a minivan that was turning into Snow Road Plaza on Sunday.

Police are not releasing the identities of those involved in the motorcycle accident other than that the male biker was born in 1976 and the 17-year-old driver of the minivan was a woman.

According to reports, the motorcycle crash occurred around 2 p.m. when the minivan, which was heading south on Webster Street, veered left, striking the motorcycle which was heading north. The biker from Dedham was taken to South Shore Hospital then transferred to a Boston area hospital, where he is currently listed in critical condition. The female driver of the minivan and her passenger were not injured in the crash.

The biker sustain serious life-threatening injuries as the result of the motorcycle accident even though he was wearing a helmet.

Local and State police are still investigating the cause of the fatal motorcycle crash.
