CT Biker Dies in Motorcycle Crash

Waterford, CT – 24-year-old William Vieu Jr. was killed in a motorcycle crash this morning when his bike struck the back of a dump truck on the Exit 78 off ramp on Interstate 395.
According to reports, the motorcycle accident occurred around 1:20 a.m. as Vieu was riding in the left lane of the off ramp when his bike hit the dump trunk driven by George Milette.
Vieu was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. 20-year-old Timothy Broughton, another biker who was riding on a separate motorcycle with Vieu, was arrested after the crash for driving under the influence.
The motorcycle accident is currently under investigation.
