Fireman hurt in accident in Sandown

A fireman was hurt in Sandown, New Hampshire, earlier this week when his motorcycle struck a truck that had slowed to avoid hitting a SUV. The accident occurred near Routes 121A and 111 around 3 p.m.
Shawn Allen, 40, a fireman and EMT, was transported to Parkland Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. Police are searching for the driver of the truck that Allen hit, as well as the blue SUV that pulled out of a Walgreens parking lot, setting off the chain of events resulting in Allen’s accident.
