Sometimes drunk motorcyclists crash into people who are even more vulnerable to injuries than themselves – bicyclists.

The Union Leader recently reported the motorcycle/bicycle collision between a city police officer on bicycle patrol and a Manchester motorcyclist in Laconia, NH, last Thursday. The police officer was struck by a drunk motorcyclist on Lakeside Avenue who was afterwards charged with DWI.

According to the authorities, officer Kathleen Yale, 56, suffered multiple minor injuries in the collision.

The motorcyclist, Zachary Morton, 27, who was driving a 2008 Triumph, was not injured.
