Philly Crash Linked to Road Racing

July 6, 2009 – Philadelphia – a motorcycle crash in Southwest Philadelphia left both the male operator and female passenger with serious injuries after they collided with a car.
The crash was the result of a police chase that began in Tinicum Township, Pa when police begun pursuing the cycle “in connection with an alleged road racing incident and speeding,” according to published reports.
No one in the car was injured due to the crash and the car itself only received minor damage.
The biker couple however, are both hospitalized with multiple injuries at the University of Pennsylvania.
