The 15th Annual Daytona Harley-Davidson Ride for Children, presented by Bruce Rossmeyer’s Daytona Harley-Davidson and JM Family Enterprises, Inc., will be held on Sunday, October 11, 2009. This is a fantastic event to help children with chronic and life threatening illnesses at Camp Boggy Creek. Since 1995, this event has raised about $3.8 million dollars.
Since 1995, Bruce Rossmeyer, the founder of Bruce Rossmeyer Harley-Davidson, has been actively involved as a fund raiser and ride organizer for this event. Over the years he has been instrumental in bringing other together who both love motorcycles and love helping children in need.
This year’s event holds special significance. In July 2009, Bruce Rossmeyer passed away leaving a legacy of love for children, motorcycles, and philanthropy. This year, the event will also celebrate his life while continuing his work to help children in need.
